  • Information Collected by Automated Means - Whenever you use the Site, we, as well as any of our third-party advertisers and/or service providers, may use a variety of technologies that automatically collect information about how the Site is accessed and used ("Usage Information"). Usage Information may include, in part, browser type, operating system, the page served, the time, how many users visited the Site, and the website you visited immediately before the Site. This statistical data provides us with information about the use of the Site, such as how many visitors visit a specific page on the Site, how long they stay on that page, and which hyperlinks, if any, they "click" on. Usage Information helps us to keep the Site fresh and interesting to our visitors and to tailor content to a visitor's interests. Usage Information is generally non-identifying, but if we associate it with you as a specific and identifiable person, we treat it as Personal Information.
  • Device Identifiers - In the course of collecting Usage Information we may also collect your IP address, MAC Address or other unique identifier (each a "Device Identifier") for the computer, mobile device, Wi-Fi card, or other technology (collectively, "Device") you use to access the Site. A Device Identifier is a number that is automatically assigned to your Device when you access a web site or its servers. Our computers identify your Device by its Device Identifier. • Web Beacons - We may also include web beacons (also known as web bugs, Internet tags, pixel tags, tracking pixels and clear GIFs) with the content and ads that we deliver to you, which we will use to collect information regarding your interaction with our content and ads. A web beacon is a transparent graphic image placed on a web page or in an email, which indicates that a page or email has been viewed or that an email has been forwarded. In addition, a web beacon allows third parties to obtain information such as the IP address of the computer that downloaded the page on which the beacon appears, the URL of the page on which the beacon appears, the time the page containing the beacon was viewed, the type of browser used to view the page, and the information in cookies set by the third party. A web beacon may also tell your browser to get content from another server.

Cookies and web beacons (together, "Site Cookies") may enable us to track and target the interests of our users to enhance the experience on our Site, track user actions/behavior on our Site and track the effectiveness of ads.

How to Opt-Out of Targeted Advertising

You can set most web browsers to notify you if you receive a cookie, or you may choose to block cookies, though either of those actions may affect the use of our Site. If you prefer to not receive targeted advertising, you can opt out of some network advertising programs that use your information. To do so please visit the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) Opt-Out Page: http://www.aboutads.info/choices/. Please note that even if you choose to remove your information (via opting out), you will still see advertisements while you are browsing online. Coordinating Your Home's Color Palette

Whether you are renovating your current house or building a new home from the ground up, you will want to choose a cohesive color palette that will help to tie your various spaces together. By purchasing beautiful porcelain tile products, it will be possible for you to incorporate functional and decorative accents that are fully in line with your interior design colors. Let’s review some essential tips that will help you to coordinate your home’s color palette.

Choose Dominant and Secondary Colors

Typically, a home’s color palette will contain three shades that are repeated throughout the space. To prevent your colors from getting too bold or overwhelming, stick with two dominant colors and one secondary color that will serve as an accent. Your dominant colors can be placed on your walls or countertops, and you can incorporate your secondary color in your tile work or other design features.

Look at Floors and Counters for Inspiration

Choosing a beautiful color palette is especially important in your kitchen, where you may have several different design elements that are vying for attention. To maintain your color palette throughout your space, you can choose colors that are picked up in your countertop materials or new flooring.

Use Beautiful Neutrals

Many homeowners love neutral color palettes because they are very easy to mix and match. When you decorate your home using shades of beige, white, or gray, you can rest assured that all of your colors coordinate perfectly. Neutral colors are also found in many tile products, including bright, white subway tile.

The design team at Tile Fantastic will be happy to help you pick out a color scheme for your glass tile in Los Altos. Our company sells many different types of floor tiles and glass tiles, so we will be able to help you find a product that contains the perfect color for your home’s palette. Give us a call at (408) 371-6247 to hear more about the terrific tile products that await you when you visit our showroom.

Become Eco-Friendlier with These Tiling Options

Choosing the right tile can add richness and artistic appeal to your home’s interiors. Also, opting for tile in certain materials can help support the health of the environment. Read on to learn how choosing stone, ceramic, or glass tile for your upcoming project can make you an eco-friendlier consumer.

Stone can be an eco-friendly tile material because it releases few or no VOCs (volatile organic compounds), which are bad for the environment. The stones that are used most commonly in construction include marble, granite, quartzite, shale, slate, limestone, soapstone, sandstone, and travertine. If you’re planning to install tile outdoors and if your area is prone to subzero temperatures, then choosing tile made of stone that has low water absorption rates can help prevent damage caused by freezing and thawing cycles. For countertops and similar surfaces, it can be wise to avoid marble tile because contact with acids may damage the stone’s surface.

When it comes to living a greener lifestyle, one factor that people often overlook is selecting materials that are long-lasting. When you choose to decorate your home with durable tile options, this can make you eco-friendlier by preventing the need for reinstallation just a few years in the future. Porcelain and ceramic tile are incredibly durable materials, so choosing to install these in your home can be an eco-friendly decision. Ceramic tiles come in a wide range of texture, colors, finishes, patterns, and shapes.

Today, many tile makers are incorporating recycled glass into their tile manufacturing process. Using recycled glass, these manufacturers can create eco-friendlier tiling options for consumers. Glass tile can be an ideal choice for use in mosaics and if you want a soft, translucent appearance that can’t be achieved with stone and ceramic options.
